About the Job
The Golf Club of Amelia Island is seeking a part-time dishwasher to assist our busy à la Carte line and thriving banquet business.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and grow in a busy culinary environment.
- Have strong initiative, a willingness to be a team player, and a high focus on detail.
- Understanding or willingness to learn of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures is required.
- High school or a GED is required.
Weekend, Evening, and Holiday availability are required.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job Duties:
Job Duties:
- Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps the dish area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
- Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks.
- Sweep and mop floors at the end of the shift and as needed throughout the day.
- Cleans and sanitizes dry storage areas, freezers, and refrigerators.
- Assists in storing food deliveries as needed.
- Monitors trash cans throughout the shift, making sure to remove full trash cans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift.
- Maintains the cleanliness of dry storage areas and the organization of storage shelves.
- Maintains clean work surfaces and the cleanliness of sinks, walls, drains, etc.
- Follows Florida sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Ensures that dishwashers are in working order and reports problems as they arise.
- Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations.
- Assists in food prep and any other duties requested by the chef and other managers as needed.
